Leaving no-one behind: In our Evaluation Practice

Leave no-one behind is a core principle of the Agenda 2030. ZEA promotes the EvalPartners Initiative to deliver on the SDG commitment through evidence-based policy and decision making, accountability, transparency and knowledge generation. The Agenda 2030 recognises the role of Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation in setting of national evaluation standards and norms through creating an enabling environment for evaluation and building the evaluation capacity of institutions and individuals. ZEA is a member of the African Evaluation Association and International Organisation for Cooperation in Evaluation.

The Zimbabwe Evaluation Association is an international professional association of evaluators devoted to the application and exploration of program evaluation, personnel evaluation, technology, and many other forms of evaluation. Evaluation involves assessing the strengths and weaknesses of programs, policies, personnel, products, and organizations to improve their effectiveness. ZEA has a diverse membership consisting of evaluators, users of evaluation and evaluation stakeholders representing all areas in Zimbabwe.
