Situation Analysis of Evaluation in Zimbabwe

The Zimbabwe Evaluation Association (ZEA) carried out a situation analysis of evaluation practice in Zimbabwe. Data was collected over five weeks during the months (October – November 2018). The study aimed at:

·        identifying who conducts and who commissions evaluations,

·        assessing skills among practitioners,

·        identifying types of evaluation conducted,

·        examining the factors that drive the production and utilization of evaluations and recommending individual and institutional capacity development interventions.
